Founded in 1979 at the National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, Family Equality has spent more than four decades ensuring that everyone has the freedom to find, form, and sustain their families by advancing equality for the LGBTQ+ community, providing resources for families at all stages, and creating community through our in-person and virtual events.

Leveraging decades of experience on the frontlines of power, we shift government and society towards a future where we are no less than equal. A4TE was founded in 2024 as the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) and Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF), two long-time champions for the trans community, merged together as one organization.
MassEquality is the leading statewide grassroots advocacy organization working to ensure that everyone across Massachusetts can thrive each and every day without discrimination and oppression based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
The Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. (“Lambda Legal”) is a national organization working to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (“LGBTQ+”) people and everyone living with HIV, through impact litigation, education and public policy work. For over fifty years, Lambda Legal has been at the forefront of the fight for legal and lived equality for the LGBTQ+ community and everyone living with HIV+.
Rainbow Railroad believes that governments around the globe should enact and enforce laws and policies that protect LGBTQI individuals and enable them to live in freedom and safety in their own country. However, until that day arrives, we are focused on providing solutions for LGBTQI people who need immediate assistance because they are facing a serious threat to their lives and safety.
The Center For LGBTQ and Gender Studies in Religion(CLGS) was established at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA and opened its doors in the fall of 2000. Our mission is to advance the well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer and transgender people and to transform faith communities and the wider society by taking a leading role in shaping a new public discourse on religion, gender identity and sexuality through education, research, community building and advocacy.

HRC Foundation’s Welcoming Schools is the most comprehensive bias-based bullying prevention program in the nation to provide LGBTQ+ and gender inclusive professional development training, lesson plans, booklists and resources specifically designed for educators and youth-serving professionals.
GLISTEN: Championing LGBTQ+ Issues in K-12 Education
GLISTEN is a national organization founded on the principle that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ+-inclusive K-12 education. GLISTEN is a network of educators, students, and local GLISTEN Chapters working to make this right a reality. GLISTEN’s mission is to ensure that every member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

Raising Race Conscious Children
Raising Race Conscious Children, a resource to support adults who are trying to talk about race with young children. This is an excellent resource for using clear and communicative language. The goals of the conversations are to dismantle the color-blind framework and prepare young people to work toward racial justice. If we commit to collectively trying to talk about race with young children, we can lean on one another for support as we, together, envision a world where we actively challenge racism each and every day.
