PLEASE HELP US MEET OUR GOALS

We have exciting plans – and need financial support to achieve them!

OUR MISSION

When we began in 1995, we never imagined we would be fighting the same battles 30+ years later. Yet, here we are – and this polarized political climate has shown how fragile democracy can be. This administration's attacks on marginalized communities demands we show up bigger and bolder than ever.

Our unique arts-based model can help to build a safer and more compassionate world!

These exhibits are not simply art. They are powerful tools that challenge ignorance and hatred with education and love. Real stories from real people, displayed where they're needed most: schools (K-12), colleges, universities, houses of worship, libraries, museums, and other venues in states including Texas, Michigan, Iowa, New Mexico, Louisiana, Missouri, Georgia, and more.

OUR PRIORITY

To get Family Diversity Projects exhibits into venues in all 50 states – because we know that minds change when hearts open. It will take significant investment in PR and marketing, and a lot of hard work, but with your help, we can reach an infinitely larger audience.

EVERY DONATION HELPS

We need to print additional exhibits to meet rising demands and replace damaged pieces to ensure they can keep traveling. Thank you to our donors who recognize that our authentic human stories help build bridges between divided communities. Donations have impact at every level, including:

  • $100 – Five of our books donated to local and school libraries

  • $250 – Marketing materials for community outreach

  • $500 – Round-trip exhibit shipping to a library, school, or house of worship

  • $1,000 – Replacement of two sets of 30-year-old exhibit texts

  • $2,500 – Full exhibit showing subsidized for an underfunded venue

  • $5,000 – An additional Authentic Selves exhibit to meet rising demands

  • $15,000 – Partial funding for our new outreach staff

  • $25,000 – Supports our annual operating expenses

Real Stories, Real Impact

With your permission, we will honor donors of $250+ as Ambassadors of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on our website – because visibility matters.

We’d like to thank John-Pierre Pasche, owner of Big Red Frame in Easthampton, MA for the reduced costs of $90 per frame in support of our non-profit. We hope you will support this great custom framing shop (and adorable shop-dog, Maizie).

“It is crucial to keep their exhibitions circulating – we need hopeful and affirming educational materials that address social justice, access, and equity. I recommend Family Diversity Projects exhibits as one of the best educational resources available on diversity themes. I hope you help make this possible."
